 Answer/Solution

This Error comes up when TD is not positioned correctly on the desired channel and object scanner camera  is not able to take the image.

To recover from this situation here are the below steps which we can follow:

Check the Channel where TD is located and is off position, in this case it was channel [3,8]

Step 1:

We need to restore the position manually, do to so , we can copy the position from the other side which is correct to the side where we found the deviation is, in this case y position at End side was not correct so we copied

value from GVL_PD.Unit.Config.Rack.Channels[3,8].TopY to GVL_PD.Unit.Config.Rack.Channels[3,8].EndY

Below are the step how to copy the value:

  1. Type the desired value in "Prepared Value "column

  2.  Go to Debug ->Write Values

Step2: Once the Correct Position is copied we need to reset the 'Teached bit to FALSE for this channel

  1.  Go to Commission Screen.
  2. Click on StatusBit tab
  3. Type desired Channel number, In this case is was [3,8]
  4. Then Press Teached radio button to make it to FALSE ( It should be  grayed out )

Step3: Next Step is to reteach the channel with corrected values:

  1. Go to Commissioning Screen
  2. Select RadioButton tab
  3. Check the Manual Order button
  4. Go to Reset Event and clear the Events
  5. Go to Production Screen and stop the production

Again come back to Commissioning Screen:

  1. Go to Commissioning Screen
  2. Select RadioButton tab
  3. Click on 'Teaching' radio button
  4. And Wait until 'Stop' radio button automatically selected after teaching is completed, do not press any button.

Once the channel is taught correctly, Put the Machine in Production, and observe few moves , if it is doing good we need to save this to persistent variable

Step 4:  Save the file

Make sure Machine is Stopped, (Go to Production and Press Stop)

  1. Go to Setting
  2. Press on 'General' tab
  3. Click on Persistent Data Save to File Arrow
  4. Put Machine back in the production
