How to:
Use the HIM to Download / Upload parameters to Eaton DG1 drive.

Question/Problem

 

Before changing a drive, it is a good practice to upload the latest parameters from the drive to the keypad or HIM.

When installing a drive, it is necessary to download the parameters from the HIM to the drive

  

Environment

 - The words keypad and HIM will be used interchangeably in this article.

Answer/Solution

  • If keypad is plugged into a new drive, then auto backup page will be shown to notice the user whether to do the
    upload/download. Move the softkey arrows to select the appropriate action and press the softkey OK.

 

 

 

  • If keypad is plugged into an existing drive, use the softkeys and navigate to the Parameters (Code) indicated below.

 

 

  • Use the Main menu navigation as reference to reach the Parameters menu.
