Answer/Solution

  1. Run ifmVisionAssistant.exe from desktop and choose "Find sensor" or "Recent" button and click on the popped up sensor.

  1. Go to "Application" tab and click "Edit Application"

  1. In "Model Settings" go to "Model parameters" and type or adjust the Min.Score value.

Notice:  Min.Score sets the minimum score for the evaluation. The contour must reach the score

to be detected. The theoretical value of “1” (100%) is not achieved in a real life, for BB_PA site we are setting up 0.75 ( 75%) or even 0.6 (60%)

  1. Exposure Time. Go back to "Image and Trigger Tab" -> " I1 New Image " and adjust slider or type the exposure time.

Notice: Exposure sets the period in “μs” for the image capture.

  1. Illumination sets the internal and external illumination.

The Colour of internal illumination buttons are used to set the LED colour of the internal illumination.

The following LED-colours are available: white, green, blue, red
