Question/Problem
How to Bypass Object Scanner Position Verification
Environment
Icollector
Bomgar
Lenze PLC designer
Answer/Solution
When Transfer device moves, Object Scanner camera take and image and verifies the position of the TD in each channel before transferring the totes onto channel.
But in case if it fails to verify the position and started faulting out frequently, we can choose to bypass the positioning verification.
It will disable the position verification for object scanner camera and run the production for some hours
This way we can extend the production hour and check the root cause in their downtime window.
We can disable the position verification by clocking on below window:
Green: Position verification is active
Gray: Position Verification is disabled
NOTE:
However it is advised not to disable the position verification in case of 582 fault : where object scanner is indicating position fault, , then it might be the issue related order or what we've also seen in the past is that one of the cables have been worn down and not getting the feedback from the encoder
