Micrologix controllers uses older version of RSLogix. You can go online with Micrologix SLC project files using RSLogix 500 Pro. The example below is from Medline Aurora CO. Use the steps below as a guideline.

First make sure the PLC's Driver is configured on RSLinx Classic. If not, configure a new drive and add the PLC IP, then start the driver.

- Open the project file, then go to System Comms or Who Active Go Online

- Navigate for the controller you are attempting to go online with, then go online

- Find the project, highlight it from the list, then Upload

Once finished uploading, you should be online with the controller.
