Restart MC4 Kernel from Web UI / Site use

Question/Problem

 

Site may have to restart the Kernel from the UI application and this how to do it.

 

Environment

 

MC4 UI

 

Answer/Solution

 

  •  Stop the Control Panel associated with the MC4 Controller.
  •  Go to Application menu

 

 

  • Highlight and right click the desired kernel to reset and select Stop Kernel.

 

 

 

  • Wait for 2 minutes
  • Highlight and right click the desired kernel to reset and select Start Kernel.
  • Start the Control Panel associated with the restarted Kernel.
