How to:
Problems with Viewing Results for Sorter Calibration in ICW
Skill required to complete this article: Controls and level is Intermediate.

Question/Problem

When running a sorter calibration in ICW, the results screen is not shown after the test completes.

Environment

  • ICW
  • Sorter calibration

Answer/Solution

ICW sites with multiple sorters need to have the calibrations values screen configured for the sorter that is being calibrated.  For example, a receiving sorter and a shipping sorter would both have their own calibration values.  Each Calibration Values screen typically only displays the values for a single sorter.

When completing a calibration, the calibration values screen for the appropriate sorter needs to be available.  If it's not, go to Administration > Edit Project Views.  Locate the Diagnostics tab on the left side.  Then locate the sorter calibration tabs (should be under CommandCenter.dll, make sure to select the correct type based on the type of sorter).  Drag the Sorter Diagnostics Values from right to left and add it on the same level as the Diagnostic Routine and any other Sorter Diagnostics Values.  Right click the screen that was just added and select "Edit Configuration".  Change the name to a clear description of the sorter this is for, then change the "sorter_id" to the correct sorter ID number*.  Save the configuration.  When done, save and close the view.

*The "sorter_id" can be found in the ICW Database Sorters table under the "physicalSorterID".
