Question/Problem

Site needs to know if BOSS is sending barcode info to their WMS

Site shared barcode examples that they want to review

Environment

BOSS II

QNX

Answer/Solution

i) Login to the RTC BOSS using putty

ii) Go to the path .../data/archive using the "cd" command (path could be different depending on the site)

iii) Once you are in the /data/archive/ path, enter an "ls" command. You should see all the log files performed that day. A lot of files could be displayed, usually their names will have the date of the log.

iv) Inside the files above there is the barcode info. To search an specific barcode in all of these files use the command "ff" (find fast). This command will return the name of the file where that barcode is.

command: ff r20790032     (Looking for barcode r20790032 in all the log files)

Barcode r20790032 has to logs, one on the file div.20220913125715 which means that BOSS send that info to the WMS. And another log in file Pallet6023840 which means that BOSS send that info to the palletizer

In the next picture we have 7 barcodes to search. These barcodes were shared by the customer

All of these barcodes had logs in the BOSS system
