How to:
iCollector | Tray Present sensor not responding

Question/Problem

 iCollector is aborted with Tray Present sensor not responding.

 

Environment

  iCollector

Lenze PLC

VTS to make connection with BB service PC.

 

Answer/Solution

  1. Login to VTS with your username and password

2. Open Service PC for respected site.

3. Go to visumain page

4. Reset the event.

5. Go to Input/Output

6. Verify the Inb Tray Present:

If Inb Tray Present = 0 =  Sensor is Unblocked

If Inb Tray Present = 1 =  Sensor is Blocked

 

7. Ask site to flag this sensor at inbound(location of the sensor is shown below)  and you can check in visumain if the value is changing or not when site is flagging it, If not then ask site to check if sensor is aligned properly, there should be  no debri or dirt on the sensor, all wires to the senor must be secured and nothing is loosen up 

 

8. After verifying everything with sensor , you can put machine back in production
