    DRAFT - In Process

    Question / Problem:

Shuttle/ PLC replacement at Freshdirect Shuttle EE51/61 errors.

    Environment:

    Fresh Direct, Bronx.

    ASRS

    1. If you are replacing the PLC's use the normal method of replacing the PLC.
    2. Use the SD card in the PLC to change the IP address of the PLC and change the test file to ip.txt
    3. Now connect the engineering PC to the PLC through the ethernet cable. Open L-Force PLC Designer 3.xx with the latest program.
    4. After download of the program and the shuttle is automatic, you might see EE51/ 61 errors i.e. EE51 error when the shuttle doesn't have a load or EE51 not blocked when shuttle has a load.
    5. This is specific to Fresh Direct and note that Fresh direct has Wenglor EE51, 61 sensors operating as "Normally open" type instead of normally closed.
    6. To avoid this, you will have to go to the Main_Program > Data_Initialize > X_Axis_positions_active routine and change the GVL_x_wenglor_sensor = True ( this will change the polarity of the sensor and make the output coming from the sensor as NC.
    7. Below is where you change the operation. This will be False in the normal shuttle and you will need to change it.
    8. To change it just double click on the false which will turn the prepared value as True, after setting the prepared value, go to debug menu on the tool bar and hit write changes. This should change the polarity and shuttle will be operating normally.
    1. Create a boot application after changing the value
