Wedge Activation Limit Exceeded Alarm on the S2000 Tilt Tray Sorter

Answer/Solution

Wedge activation limit exceeded alarm on the Diagnoses Screen in CSC3 MMI indicates that the wedges have reached an activation threshold after which they will have to be inspected/serviced.

Wedge activation limit is set at 200,000 for this example site. Once the wedges reach this limit, the alarms will be posted. Maintenance team will need to physically inspect the wedge and can reset the counter after. 

Once inspected, the counter can be reset from Main Menu > Maintenance System > Misc. Reports > Service Counters > Reset Wedge-Counters  

Type in the ISD number for the wedge, press Enter to list available Counters and hit F12 to reset a specific counter
