How to:
Perform an Eye Calibration for ACL/PandA lines in Momentum.
Skill required to complete this article: Controls and level is No Skill Level Association.

Problem:

An eye calibration will be needed when there are a considerable number of mistracks and belt underspeed alarms stopping the conveyor. For ACL/PandA lines a known fix is to perform an eye calibration on the line.

Environment:

MC4 Momentum.

Description:

1.- Clear the corresponding ACL/PandA line of all cartons but leave the line running/on.

2.- Hover over the conveyor icon on the left side menu and click on the "Print and Apply" menu.

3.- Select the corresponding CP on the dropdown menu at the top left corner.

4.- Select the corresponding line, click on the three dots, and select "Diagnostics".

5.- Now click on "Enable Test Mode" and then on "Diagnostics" again.

6.- Select "Eye Calibration" and then click on "Prepare to Test".

7.- Click on the "Start" button and begin the test.

7.1.- Throw one carton at a time before the 1st eye and let it run through the line.

7.2.- Once it has made it through the end of the line, all "Calibration Average (in)" values should populate and the test should also end.

7.3.- Record the values for each test.

7.4.- Repeat the test as needed, 4 cartons should be enough, and make sure you hit the "Start" button every time you throw a new one.

7.5.- Hit "Apply".

8.- Exit out of the "Eye Calibration" menu and click on "Exit Diagnostics".

9.- Run some cartons through the ACL/PandA line to test.
