Question/Problem
 OLS 206 Has F_0122 Error: X Axis EE11A and EE11B Not On after Homing

Answer/Solution

Steps to troubleshoot:

In order to check if shuttle is at the home slot, check E11A and E11B sensors are ON, E13 Sensor is ON, and x axis position value should be zero that indicates the first slot.

 

Step1:  Check for EE11A and E11B signals, make sure both the signals are ON after homing is completed


 

To check for these sensor value, Follow the below step:

         Connect the shuttle to the power supply.

         Move the shuttle inside the railing and monitor I/O to the PLC

         If these signals are coming back to the PLC(Signal values are True in code), that means there is no issue with the sensors and shuttle is working fine on the railing.

 

 

Step 2:  Next step is to see for the homing sensor EE13, if this is ON that means, it can see the reflector and shuttle is at home slot that is slot1.

Step3:

Check x axis position value in PLC code, it should be zero which indicates the first slot.

 

 

Step 4: Next step is to check, while shuttle is moving towards the home slot is centered on the rail slot or not.

Follow below steps:

-      Check guide wheels are aligned properly.

-      Clean the rail

-      Clean shuttle wheels, idle and drive wheels

-      Clear bearings on wheels

 

Resolution:

 

Guide wheels were not aligned properly for OLS 206.

Site removed plc and Wi-Fi module from shuttle 206 and place it in one of the spare shuttles which they have and it is working fine.
