How to:
Perform PLC Hard Reset on the Cross-belt Sorter
Skill required to complete this article:
Loop Sorter ~ IntelliSort CB 4000
and level is
Intermediate
.
Follow the steps below to successfully reset PLC through ICW.
1.
Stop inducting packages on the cross-belt sorter
2.
Wait for items that are in discharge state (purple carriers) to divert off the sorter and verify there are no purple carrier occupied. Below shows an example of purple carriers that are in discharge state. There shouldn’t be any purple carriers during this process. The carrier status should look like fig 2(below) before proceeding to the next step.

Once there are no purple carriers, stop the sorter from ICW and wait for it to come to a full stop
4.
Go to TT/CB Diagnostic screen and hit the ‘Hard PLC Reset’ button as shown below
5.
Once the reset is completed, the sorter can be started from the supervision screen.
