Question/Problem

 

How to Restart the MC4 Kernel from the UI.  Site can do this as well.

 

Environment

 

-MC4

-Web UI

-Kernel

Stop The Control Panels

1. Go to the Control Panels Menu

2. Select the drop down and choose the RTC you was to reset.

3. Right click each CP under that RTC.

4. Select Stop Control Panel.

 

Note: All Panels for the RTC you are restarting need to be stopped.

 

 

Stop The Kernel

1. Go to the Application: Overview menu

2. Right Click the Kernel for your RTC

3. Select Stop Kernel.

 

Wait till the Kernel is completely stopped.

 

Wait 2 Minutes

After Stopping the Kernel, Wait for 2 Minutes before Proceeding.

 

Start The Kernel

1. Go to the Application: Overview menu

2. Right Click the Kernel

3. Select Start Kernel

 

Wait for the kernel to be fully running.

 

Now you can start up the Control Panels.
