Connect to PLC
Connect to Sorter Control Panel PLC and be Online, make sure Calibration related AOIs are unlocked.
Back up the old Calibration Values
Before Starting the Calibration take the Screen shot\backup of current calibration values available in PLC program
For example current calibration values can be found under '_Calibration_of_Lanes' routine
'Calibration of Lanes' Rung looks similar to below,
Tracking Main Routine
To start calibration for a PLC control shoe sorter, sorter should be running without induction
To Enable the calibration toggle the 'Configure' bit on tracking main routine in PLC.
Calibration Routine on PLC
Navigate to Calibration routine on Sorter PLC and toggle UI_AutoCal.RunCalibration
The sorter calibration will start and count remaining will be changing until it's 0 and 'calibrationcomplete' bit is latched.
Monitor AutoCalValues
Monitor Auto Cal values by doing a right click and select 'monitor' on highlighted bit once calibration is complete.
Compare new and old Calibration Values.
Compare new calibration values after calibration with older values saved before calibration.
If difference between old and new calibration value for each lane is not more than +-1, save the new values if not then do not save new values and check the devices on the lane showing difference.
Example of new cal values are shown here.
Save New Calibration Values
To save the calibration values, open Instruction logic for 'AutoCalibration' AOI and find the rung for 'SaveValues' bit, toggle yellow highlighted bit so that new calibration values are saved.
