Question/Problem

 

How to resolve Putwall Manager/Handheld scanner/ ICE Blue controller communication issue. 

 

Environment

 

WES/Putwall Manager

ICE BLUE Controller

 

Answer/Solution

1. Check Putwall Manager logs at the time of disconnect.
2. Ask site to check that the ICE Blue Controller is powered on and connected to the network.
3. Login to the controller and make sure all processes are running.
4. Unplug the network cable from the switch and have IT confirm that it shows unplugged.
5. Plug the network cable back into switch.
6. If you don't get a logon screen try resetting the nodeboard.
7. Replace the handheld scanner
8. Escalate.
